Nazareth Academic Institution

Mar Elias College (NGAI) had been up to 2009, before becoming a full fledged Israeli institution, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission for the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools in the U.S.A., as a branch campus of the University of Indianapolis. As part of this historic affiliation, eligible MEC students will have still the opportunity to continue their studies at the University of Indianapolis.

In addition to the University of Indianapolis, MEC has established a deep collaboration with the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities (APCU), the Consortium for Global Education (CGE ), Emory University and the Catholic University in France. These Higher Education Institutions are involved in an exchange of opinion, academic matters, research activities, conferences, consulting, and exchange of students and faculty.

Mar Elias College (NGAI) has established collaboration with the High Tech Industry, in particular with Intel, CISCO, Microsoft, the Regional Research and Data Center in the Galilee, the Research Center in Sakhnin, as well as the media. This will allow an exchange of opinion, provide guidance, and practical experience for the students during the term of their studies, with the possibility of recruiting for graduate students.
